I really like how this one turned out... So pretty.
It is one of our Olivia drawstring bags, and I am looking for something to use as the drawstring, lol.
I thought about a leather or suede cording and a friend mentioned hemp...
I will run out in a bit and see what I can find.
Any suggestions...

This is the space that we are working on to make into our new studio...

It looks a little different now that I free cycled the 52" tv and the wood burning stove...

But we still have a long way to go.

I know it will be beautiful when we are finished and cannot wait to see our little drawing come to life.

Well you know how the story goes.

We wanted to update you on Margaret's condition...

Hubby got a leg for her to stand on, but she is now baseless...We are trying to find a pretty way for her to stand upright.

I thought...hhmmmmm, maybe stick her in a flower pot. But am not sure of that idea now.

Steph and I will get together and talk about that while she is here today and see what ideas we can come up with.

Also... do you see those tags hanging from our bag...those lil' beauties came from the ever so sweet herjodren on Etsy of course. She was our Alchemy find...So I guess you can say she found us...But what a doll to work with. We had so much fun that we kept asking for more, so we also got some stickers and sew in tags as well.

So if you are looking for custom labels or tags stop by and talk to her, she will come up with something beautiful for you.

The Long Weekend

We did take advantage of working in the yard to get some of the icky work done, but now Stephanie and I have completly lost our minds.

We are going to move the studio to the garage, Why? We have out grown the spare bedroom that we were using.

I will have to post a pic tomorrow and show you just how insane we really are.

When I say that I wish that I would have had this tut when my son was in Pre-K. I mean it.

This would have saved me not only time, but my sanity as well.

Meet Margaret

One of my best friends ever just gave me this lil' beaut... I named her Margaret.

She will be helping model all of our bags once we get her all prettied up.

She needs a little leg to stand on and a few other things, but I think she will be perfect once we give her her makeover.

Stephanie and I have this weird, uncontrollable urge to name everything we come into contact with (I think it has a little to do with our OCD)... So, we named our drawstring line, "Olivia".

Well, this is our newest Olivia, isn't she beautiful.

Made out of Michael Miller, it is so bright and summery, I cannot wait to make me one.

For those of you not familiar with Alchemy, it is an Etsy tool that allows you as a buyer on the hunt, to go and let crafters know you are looking for something special.

Well Steph and I have been looking for hang tags to use for our bags, but have had a hard time tracking down just the right ones.

So, when all else fails, turn to Etsy right?

We placed and ad, and within a few minutes we already had some takers.

So alas, we were able to find just the right tags, our search is over...
